About
– Gladys, founder of Muskmelon, Colombia
I started out as a secondary school drama and dance teacher in the north of England. After several years, I moved to work in the arts and cultural sector, initially as a freelance practitioner running workshops and training events. I eventually took on management and leadership roles and worked in several nonprofit creative organisations across England for 15 years.
However, I have always wanted to live abroad, so I left the U.K. to live in Spain and in 2016 my husband and I moved to the other side of the world, Chile. It was in Chile that I decided to shift my focus away from working in the arts to become a coach and I haven’t looked back. Since qualifying as a certified coach, I have worked across diverse sectors, countries and topics. Now I mainly help those people and organisations who are making a difference – NGOs and nonprofits – to stay resilient and find a balance.
All my work is online which is great as it allows me to work with people all over the global and to travel to different places whilst working.
Now for the qualifications bit: I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from International Coaching Federation (2024), I have a Level 2 in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at APT (2023), Level 2 in Motivational Interviewing at APT (2023) and qualified as a certified coach from Allenati per l’Éccelencia school (2020). I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychology from Liverpool University, which heavily informs my coaching practice.
It would be an honour to accompany you on your coaching journey. If you would like more information or have a question to ask me, click the “Let´s chat” button.
