About

Here´s a little more information about me.
Firstly, I thought it would be useful to start with why I do what I do, so you can see straight away if there is a fit with you and what you want from a coach.
I am driven, both professionally and personally, by the desire to help people to thrive and reach their potential. I see this as key for the well-being of an individual and a community. To achieve this I take a person-centred, evidence-based, practical, and creative approach to my coaching, workshops, and courses. I work with people who are open, curious, willing to explore and experiment with ideas, people who are keen to learn and grow and who find the courage to take action to create that change, even if it is a little daunting.
I am a certified coach from an accredited programme at the Allenati per l’Éccelencia school. I have achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential and standard from the largest coaching federation worldwide, International Coaching Federation.
Before becoming a coach I worked for over 20 years in the arts and culture sector in the UK in leadership and management roles. And before that, at the very start of my career, I worked as a dance and drama teacher in a secondary school.
My interest in coaching came when I attended a fantastic leadership course in 2014 whilst working at the Royal Opera House, London. I was struck by how coaching techniques inspired and empowered people to make changes. When I returned to work, I began to use coaching techniques and never looked back. However, it took several more years, a change in hemispheres and a little bit of courage before I decided to dedicate my career to coaching.
Whilst I no longer work in the world of arts and culture, it very much informs how I coach. My approach draws on creative processes to support you to engage your creative side, find your “flow” and generate solutions.
It would be an honour to accompany you on your coaching journey. If you would like more information or have a question to ask me, click the “Let´s chat” button.
